"Simplicity" – The rebranding for ZDFheute by BDA Creative convinces with clear lines

The Munich-based agency BDA Creative redesigned the on-air, digital and screen design for ZDFheute with a simple keyline. On 19 July 2021, the rebranding went on air.

When did the "Programmgesellschaft für Kabel und Satellitenrundfunk" (Programme Company for Cable and Satellite Broadcasting) become SAT.1? Which changes eventually led to the multicoloured ball? And how did claims and jingles change during this time? These and many other questions were answered by André Otto, Creative Director Design and main designer responsible for the SAT.1 brand, Michael Sundermann, Head of Art and Design ProSiebenSAT.1, and Paul Taylor, Head of Audio and Creative Director ProSiebenSAT.1. In addition, former Creative Director Ulla Gessner commented on the development. In "Die Alm – Promischweiß und Edelweiß" (The Alpine Pasture – Celebrity Sweat and Edelweiss) ten celebrities have been living for 6 weeks at 1,680 metres above sea level as if it were 100 years ago: without electricity, heating or any luxury. The matching campaign was provided by Seven.One Creation, the creative agency of the Seven.One Entertainment Group.

On 29 April 2021 at 5 pm CET, the time had come: Corinna Kamphausen, CEO Eyes & Ears of Europe, presented the first Eyes & Ears LIVE event and welcomed Cécile Chavepayre, Creative Director ARTE, to the premiere. Over a glass of red wine in Cologne and sake in Paris, the two exchanged views on topics such as why there are so few female creative directors in France, how Cécile manages to calm her "monkey mind" and empty her mind for a project, and how her path led from being a teacher to the media industry.

Hate is becoming more and more prevalent on the net. In addition to hate speech, insulting and defamatory posts and comments, social media users are also being insulted in their private messages. RTLZWEI takes a clear stand and includes not only faces of the channel but also their employees in the awareness-raising and educational campaign by the vonHerzen agency.

Matching the claim "Anders Fernsehen" ("Watching TV differently") – 3sat gets new sound design from Cape Rock
