The second podcast episode of "A Drink with European Media Creatives" features Austrian Green Veltliner and Kitty Krazy from Smaland, Sweden. In the conversation with Christer Mellstrand, Marketing Director at SVT, they talk - among other things - about the task of a public broadcaster not to provide a stage for fake news. Our presenter and the Marketing Director also discuss the challenges of being a team leader in times of crisis and how to promote creativity while running.

On 29 April 2021 at 5 pm CET, the time had come: Corinna Kamphausen, CEO Eyes & Ears of Europe, presented the first Eyes & Ears LIVE event and welcomed Cécile Chavepayre, Creative Director ARTE, to the premiere. Over a glass of red wine in Cologne and sake in Paris, the two exchanged views on topics such as why there are so few female creative directors in France, how Cécile manages to calm her "monkey mind" and empty her mind for a project, and how her path led from being a teacher to the media industry.

#HasshatHausverbot ("Hate is banned") – RTLZWEI and vonHerzen show haters the red card with cross-media campaign

Hate is becoming more and more prevalent on the net. In addition to hate speech, insulting and defamatory posts and comments, social media users are also being insulted in their private messages. RTLZWEI takes a clear stand and includes not only faces of the channel but also their employees in the awareness-raising and educational campaign by the vonHerzen agency.

Matching the claim "Anders Fernsehen" ("Watching TV differently") – 3sat gets new sound design from Cape Rock

After the successful 3sat redesign in 2019, the Dutch agency Cape Rock has now given the station a new sound design – which will be on air from 01 May.

Glad it worked out with "Studio Schmitt" – Cologne Bureau Etienne Heinrich takes over the design of ZDFneo's personality show

It all started in the living room and ended up in a glossy magazine – "Studio Schmitt" is the result of a collaboration between Büro Etienne Heinrich, Seapoint Productions and ZDFneo.

First a laughter marathon then a screaming contest and can gymnastics – a triathlon as a "workout for the laugh muscles", recommended by TVNOW and "Die Werbeinsel".

The TVNOW campaign "Best of Comedy" has been running online and on-air since 1 March. The Cologne agency "Die Werbeinsel" produced the accompanying trailers.

Happy Birthday, Mouse! "Die Sendung mit der Maus" turns 50 and everybody is celebrating

On 7 March the time had come: "Die Sendung mit der Maus" ("The Programme with the Mouse") from WDR celebrated its 50th birthday - and hasn't stopped since! A very special birthday song and its own website included.

"Lea (12) often gets sent photos. Including dirty ones from Dirk (64)." A claim that becomes reality all too often, unfortunately. RTL showed how our children can be protected on the internet on 8 March in the special programme "Attack on our children". Golden Claim provided the strong on-air and online promotion.

Design with heart – Paris agency GÉDÉON designs new Flemish entertainment brand Play

Not just a design, but an experience of its own, not just viewers, but fans – that were the goals of the Parisian agency GÉDÉON for Play, the brand created by the merger of the two large Belgian television and telecommunications companies SBS and Telenet.
