Gédéon Reinvents Two Iconic TV Brands: Antena 3 & Gulli

From celebrating a legacy to shaping the future, Gédéon continues to redefine television branding with two bold redesigns. For its 35th anniversary, Spain’s leading channel Antena 3 entrusted Gédéon with a fresh identity, centering around the striking púa symbol—an emblem of versatility and recognition. Meanwhile, in France, Gulli embraced a dynamic new look inspired by the digital world, with playful avatars bringing the brand to life for a new generation of young viewers.

For their 35th anniversary, Antena 3 called on Gédéon as a trusted friend to redesign their brand to commemorate the occasion. As a leading channel in Spain’s television landscape, Gédéon’s approach for the new design began with creating a graphic system that reflects the wide range of content that Antena 3 produces and showcases. The shape of la púa (the pick) arose as a key new element. La púa is now the multifunctional and recognizable symbol of the channel, acting as both a guide through commercial breaks and a brand identifier used next to the channel name or as a standalone logo. Through the widened color palette and new symbol, flexibility and personality are emphasized as belonging at the heart of Antena 3’s brand identity.

GULLI

Gulli is the leading children’s TV channel in France and needed to stay ahead in a highly competitive market with an innovative design. The new visual and sonic identity draws inspiration from the visual language of video games, social media, video platforms, and even action figures—elements that resonate strongly with today’s children.

Gédéon introduced playful little avatars, whose heads are morphed from the Gulli logo. These “Gullis” create a strong emotional connection with children across TV, digital, and even off-air. The design interface highlights Gulli’s diverse content while offering children an experience that feels familiar, mirroring their favorite digital platforms.
