No Games Without Volunteers: Gédéon Wins Gold for Playful Storytelling
by Eyes & Ears of Europe
Paris 2024 needed over 40,000 volunteers — and Gédéon delivered a winning campaign to help recruit them. Teaming up with writers and animators, the studio created a humorous spot starring the beloved Phryge mascot.
It was the first time that a content of more than 30 seconds was developed using the Phryge mascot. Working with a team of scriptwriters and animators, we crafted an amusing story, playfully showing just how chaotic things could get without their help! A fun way to encourage a global audience to get involved. (Gédéon)
The film playfully depicts the chaos that would unfold without volunteers — a charming call to action that resonated globally. The campaign earned Gédéon a Gold Award in the Copywriting category at the 2025 GEMA Awards.
