Intermission Film joins Eyes & Ears of Europe
by Bart Hendrikx
Intermission Film is pleased to announce that it has joined Eyes & Ears of Europe, the European network for design, promotion and marketing of audiovisual media.
Founded in 2012, Intermission Film is a multi-award-winning full-service entertainment creative agency. Its team of almost one hundred editors, designers, producers and writers, based in London, Amsterdam, New York and Melbourne, creates campaigns for major studios, streamers, broadcasters and independent distributors.
Recent work includes Dune: Part Two, All of Us Strangers, Drive to Survive, House of the Dragon, The Crown, A Real Pain, Baby Reindeer, Harry Potter and Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere.
Beyond campaign creative, Intermission partners directly with production companies from concept to screen, shaping brand identities through sizzle reels, opening title sequences, in-show graphics, trailers and every creative touchpoint in between.
Joining Eyes & Ears of Europe creates new opportunities to exchange knowledge, participate in industry events and build relationships with broadcasters, streamers, studios, distributors, production companies, agencies and creative professionals across Europe.
WHAT'S NEXT: EXPANSION IN THE NETHERLANDS & GERMANY
As part of its continued European growth, Intermission Film has appointed Bart Hendrikx as Commercial Director for the Netherlands and Germany.
Bart brings more than two decades of international experience across the entertainment, creative and media industries. His previous roles include leadership positions at Drone Stories, Optimist, MassiveMusic and Parasol Island, where he helped companies expand into new markets and build long-term partnerships across Europe.
Bart's connection to Germany runs deep. He spent three years in Berlin helping transform Parasol Island into a hybrid production company for advertising, contributing to its recognition by Horizont as Germany's third most creative moving image production company in 2014. At Optimist, a global creative experience agency with offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, he further strengthened his expertise in brand-led storytelling.
Earlier in his career, he also played a key role in expanding MassiveMusic's presence across the German television market.
In his new role, Bart will focus on strengthening relationships with studios, streamers, broadcasters, distributors, agencies and production companies across the Netherlands and Germany, supporting Intermission Film's continued growth in both markets.
The ambition is clear: to become the world's leading entertainment creative agency outside Los Angeles.
