What a Spectacle: Screenforce Festival 2024

We attended Screenforce Festival 2024 in Düsseldorf – an unforgettable experience! The Screenforce Festival impressively showcased how the TV industry captivates with enthusiasm and creativity. Spectacular screenings from RTL Deutschland, ProSiebenSat.1, and other industry players were presented in the circus tent, accompanied by show acts like Zoe Wees and Tim Bendzko.

The lead event, Screenforce Festival by TV marketers, was once again a resounding success! We at Eyes & Ears of Europe were also present. The organizers displayed their vividly staged program screenings with prominent broadcaster faces, informing about program highlights of the upcoming TV season and the strategic direction of the marketers. They showcased the best of the best event screenings, including those from our members – the annual highlight that all creatives strive for. Additionally, there were insights into the latest research and industry trends in the moving image market, which are crucial for us and our network. We look forward to the next time!

Festivals are known for highlights, stars, and surprises – and the Screenforce Festival offered all of that. The day was packed with impressive shows, insights from the TV industry, prominent faces, and great emotions. Colorful balloons, a real circus tent, food trucks, loungers, photo booths, glitter tattoos, and confetti created a lively atmosphere. The sunny weather contributed to the success, and it was clear: it was time for a reunion.

By nine in the morning, the festival plaza was already buzzing. About an hour and a half later, the show started in the circus tent, accompanied by pyrotechnics, professional dancers, light shows, and fog. Screenforce CEO Malte Hildebrandt welcomed the guests and emphasized the industry's optimism.

Palina Rojinski and Michael Kessler guided the day and announced the screenings of the broadcasters. Particularly impressive was the passionate battle for supremacy in the reality TV genre.

The slogan "United for the Future of Total Video" was lived during the festival, both on stage and in business. The collaboration within the TV industry was clearly noticeable, such as the integration of ProSiebenSat.1 and RTL's AdTech stacks.

A highlight was the performance of the song "United" by Sarah Engels and Eko Fresh, to the melody of Alicia Keys' "New York," which directly addressed advertisers. The festival atmosphere continued into the night, with rap from Eko Fresh and DJ sounds.

Screenforce Festival 2024 was a resounding success and will remain in our memories for a long time! Until next year!
