Looking Back Eyes & Ears Awards 2022: Flutwein – SolidAHRität schreibt Geschichte

To heighten the anticipation for the 26th International EYES & EARS Awards 2024, we are presenting the winning campaigns in the "Best cases in a worst case crisis" category from 2021 to 2023. Not only do these entries still seem relevant to us in terms of content, they also show how creativity and resilience become important resources in times of recurring crises.

After introducing you to the campaign "Silence Leaves You Defenseless" in the previous eNews, this time we focus on the award-winning 2022 campaign "Flutwein – SolidAHRität schreibt Geschichte" (Floodwine - Solidarity Makes History) by Seven.One AdFactory.

Following the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley in Germany, winemakers were left with only mud-covered, unsellable bottles. Seven.One AdFactory transformed these into the brand "Flutwein" ("Floodwine") and offered them as unique items in exchange for donations. The campaign sparked an enormous wave of solidarity and raised over 4.4 million euros in donations, making it Germany's most successful crowdfunding campaign.
