2know.agency takes on “Vogelsang Digital erleben”

As lead agency, 2know.agency (formerly KlimekSchneider) will strategically, visually, and digitally realign the International Place Vogelsang through mid-2028, making the memorial site accessible in a contemporary way through immersive formats.

Until mid-2028, 2know.agency (formerly KlimekSchneider GmbH) will implement the project “Vogelsang Digital erleben”, which was awarded through a Europe-wide tender, acting as lead agency. The former Nazi Ordensburg Vogelsang in the Eifel region is regarded as a significant site of remembrance and comprises one of the largest contiguous architectural ensembles from the Nazi era. After the Second World War, the site was used by the Belgian Army and was reopened to the public in 2005.

Today, the International Place Vogelsang stands as a place of encounter and the promotion of democratic values.

As part of the project, 2know.agency will develop, among other things, a strategic and visual repositioning of the site as a brand, as well as a comprehensive communication and digital strategy. This includes the digital interpretation of the grounds and the development of immersive elements within the existing exhibitions.
