Cheers and joy abound at the production agency novel.media!

SVG Europe recently announced the selection of four groundbreaking projects to be honored with Sports Broadcasting Achievements (SBAs), including novel.media's broadcasting production for the European League of Football (ELF).

European League of Football as a cloud-based production

In 2023, novel.media and the European League of Football (ELF) embarked on the journey of remote production using a comprehensive cloud solution. No other production company worldwide has produced seventy live games, each lasting up to four hours, during the mere four-month season. Four games were produced simultaneously, with up to nine games in a single weekend.

The celebratory presentation of the SBAs in London acknowledged the outstanding work of novel.media in the field of Sports Broadcasting.

In collaboration with Logic TV, Vizrt, and AWS, novel.media developed a platform where directors, graphic designers, and sound engineers could control the games from the four novel.media studios, eliminating the need to travel to various locations. This not only reduced production costs but also saved over 300 tons of CO2 emissions during this season. Additionally, novel.media's innovative production method allowed for additional revenue through the virtual integration of sponsors into the live broadcast.
