Exhibition Tip: The Future is Present

by Eyes & Ears of Europe

This exhibition offers a glimpse into the world of imagination and innovation from June 19, 2022, to December 31, 2024. Visitors will embark on a journey through the potential landscapes of tomorrow. Divided into three main themes—Human, Society, and Planet+—this immersive experience invites exploration of the pressing questions and challenges that await us in the years to come.

In the Human section, the exhibition delves into the evolving dynamics of human relationships, health, and well-being in an increasingly interconnected world. From advances in biotechnology to the impact of social media on mental health, this theme offers a thought-provoking examination of the complex intersections of technology and humanity.

Transitioning into the Society theme, guests confront pressing questions about the future of governance, community, and social justice. Interactive displays and installations explore alternative models of governance, envision utopian communities, and consider the role of activism in shaping a more equitable society.

Finally, in the Planet+ segment, the focus shifts to environmental sustainability and the urgent need for collective action to address climate change and ecological degradation. From innovative green technologies to grassroots movements advocating for environmental justice, this theme highlights the critical importance of sustainability in shaping our future.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors encounter a diverse array of design examples and art installations, each offering a unique perspective on the possibilities and challenges of tomorrow. From speculative visions of futuristic cityscapes to practical solutions for sustainable living, The Future is Present provides a space for reflection on the role of design in shaping our collective future.
