ARTE: Summer of Freedom – Programme design for the thematic focus

Between 5 July and 25 August 2019, ARTE will be broadcasting a summer programme focus again. This year's theme will be "Summer of Freedom": Every Friday and Sunday, ARTE will devote itself to the themes of freedom and self-fulfilment in pop culture with feature films, concerts and documentaries.

From 23 to 26 May 2019, elections to the European Parliament will be held in the Member States of the European Union. 7Sports, the sports business unit of ProSiebenSat.1, has been active in the eSports sector since 2016, including live broadcasts of international tournaments, the weekly magazine "ran eSports - Professional. Gaming. Magazine" on ProSieben MAXX and, most recently, the digital content on www.esports.com. A cooperation like the one with the eSports organizer DreamHack is intended to bring even more content to television and illustrates 7Sports' intention to make eSports known to the masses.

BDA Creative, a communications and branding agency based in Munich, has produced campaigns for Viacom (MTV, Nick, Comedy Central) and rebranding for 3sat, as well as several audiovisual content campaigns for VoD providers. These include, for example, the Prime Original series "Beat" and "You are Wanted". Eyes & Ears asked BDA Creative what specifics campaigns for VoD providers require, what current projects they are working on and what challenges they are facing.

New, cross-media connection between TV and mobile: RTL II links "Berlin - Day & Night" and THE DOME on IGTV

On 30 November 2018 RTL II brought its music show THE DOME back on stage. To promote the event, the channel launched a cross-media combination of TV and IGTV, the video application of Instagram, with a special of its reality soap "Berlin – Day & Night".
